Whether you're ready to commission or would like to develop a concept together, Elle loves a good visual brief. A great starting point is sending through your inspo pics, a mood board, or colour palette (and if you're not quite there yet, that's okay—we can narrow it down together. *hint: click on the colour palette link to check out my board on Pinterest).
Consultations are custom-fit to your preferences: chat, text, voice memo, video call—just let Elle know what works best for you.
To understand your aesthetic and preferences, Elle will ask a few guiding questions to gauge your yes’s and no’s, and check in on size, location, and timeline.

Quoting a bespoke piece is shaped by the size, materials, complexity and any special elements that make the artwork uniquely yours.
If we’re working within a specific budget, Elle will provide an overview of options based on scale, feel and price point.
A progress check-in will be offered before varnish is applied, giving you a chance to confirm or tweak the final touches.
Once you're ready to begin, a 30% deposit will be requested, with the balance finalised prior to handover. Flexible split-payment plans are available if needed.
Postage, pick-up, or delivery will be tailored to your situation on a case-by-case basis.
This initial chat helps set expectations: because clarity enables safety and confidence. And because art is deeply emotional, we love resting assured.
Elle’s consultation process is designed to attune the artwork to you: your aesthetic, your preferences, your way of moving through the world. Together, you’ll explore the colour, texture, and mood that reflects your energy and how best to reflect the atmosphere of you in the final piece. Elle can then shape an artwork that feels like an extension of your essence-made to move with you, wherever life leads.
elle’s ethos
Living with a chronic illness (Narcolepsy) means my life is scheduled and run to a strict medication schedule.
My art process has developed into a dance with the unpredictable – a surrender both on purpose and by design. An antidote of sorts.
After sculpting the initial layers by hand, what truly makes each piece come alive are the final fluid layers - which control their own course.
I start with a base of natural materials :: recycled paper, clay, ash, sand, gypsum, marble dust and/or coffee grounds :: to create a texture bed. A bare ‘scape’.
For colour :: a selection of bisters, mica pigments and fluid acrylic inks :: encasing them in a non-toxic, water-based liquid binder medium.
My signature style involves a continuous coaxing rather than forceful control of the elements. It isn't making or mixing; it's an offering and a suggestion - the liquid decides it’s final form. I like the thrill (& slight risk!) of allowing the materials to find their own way to the finish line. Its either trust or recklessness, I haven’t decided yet.
Each artwork develops as I step away to sleep, the binder moves and settles into the nooks within the texture bed, forming the intricate terrains that define my style.
The moment each piece is complete is unmistakable – but always a surprise to me. Sometimes weeks or many months. Welcomed but never with a predictable eta.
